1) A couple aged 30 or above is sought to look after children in the Vatra e ngrohtë children’s home in Gjirokastër. There are two houses, side by side. The couple would take charge of one house, with two children, to be gradually built up to twelve children. 2) Greece. There are some half million Albanians in Greece, and only one couple working full-time among them (in Larissa). AEM would be pleased to receive applications from people who believe God is leading them to this work. 3) The team in Gjirokastër seeks a children’s worker, long-term or short-term. 4) A man or woman to assist, and maybe in time take over, the administrative work is sought for the team in Gjirokastër. This could be an able trainee, to be instructed by Geoff Townsend, or someone with previous accounting and administrative experience. Much literature is imported, printed in Albania, sold (at a loss), and given away free; translators are paid; and the task of keeping the accounts for presentation to the Albanian tax authorities is a demanding one. 5) Teachers of English as a Foreign Language and of computer skills are needed in Albania and Kosova, to join also in the work of the local church. The church in Prishtina is seeking a native English speaker to teach English as part of its evangelism and church planting team in Drenas. 6) It goes without saying that AEM is always desirous of receiving applications from people who wish to engage in evangelism and church planting in Albania, Kosova or Macedonia.
